After a year of planning, finally my latest cruise, Pacific Princess to the Holy Land from Venice happened. Luckily, we purchased the airline tickets almost a year ago before the price of oil caused prices to increase. Since I had never been to Venice before, we planned on two nights before the cruise to explore. At the end, we added one night in Athens to explore the ruins at Corinth.
Being in the travel industry, I researched hotels and land tours before we departed. Six months before we departed everything was in place and then it was just a mater of waiting.
